The "Lost & Found Leeds Club" in Leeds, England, is an extraordinary restaurant and cocktail bar located in a listed Victorian-era building. It belongs to a small chain known for its unique blend of nostalgic charm and modern creativity, and it has established itself as a staple in Leeds' culinary scene since its opening in 2018. Inspired by the fictional character Professor Benedict Pike, an adventurous explorer, the venue combines opulent interior design with a touch of eccentricity, offering an atmosphere that evokes the past while promising contemporary enjoyment. It attracts a diverse clientele, from families and friends to couples celebrating special occasions.

Seasonal british cuisine in leeds

Culinarily, the "Lost & Found Leeds Club" places emphasis on seasonal British cuisine with a creative twist. A highlight is the 21-day aged steak from the Josper grill, cooked at 400 degrees Celsius, which is appreciated for its juicy texture and intense flavor – often served with a spicy chimichurri sauce. Equally popular are the handmade wood-fired pizzas, such as the truffle and wild mushroom variant, which impresses with its crispy crust and aromatic toppings. The pasta dishes, like a creamy lobster risotto, offer an elegant option for fine dining enthusiasts. To conclude on a sweet note, the sticky toffee pudding is often highlighted – warm, rich, and accompanied by an enticing toffee sauce that makes the dessert unforgettable. The cocktail menu, referred to as “molecular mixology,” is another standout feature: the Strawberry Bon Bon, a mix of strawberry liqueur, lemon, and foam, combines sweetness with a zesty note and is particularly popular among guests.

The interior spans multiple floors and pays homage to Victorian aesthetics, featuring antique brass, velvet furnishings, and leather accents that create a luxurious yet inviting atmosphere. There are various areas, including a hidden Victorian bar on the ground floor, an elegant lounge, and a private dining room, each with its own character. The open kitchen allows guests to watch the chefs at work, while the bar, with its creative mixologists, serves as the hub of beverage artistry. Especially on weekends or during events like the Bottomless Brunch, it can become lively, underscoring the energy of the place. For families, there is a child-friendly orientation with a special menu, and outdoor spaces provide a welcome addition in nice weather.

Really recommend. The staff made our visit really, everyone was so lovely and no ask was too much. We had Ethan and Mia serving us in the Secret Bar, and they went above and beyond and took care of our table of 24 people very well, than you so much - it made such a difference to our day. I spoke to Charlie on the phone a lot in the lead up to this and he was always more than helpful. I can really recommend for groups. Food and drinks lovely also! AND A MAGICIAN CAME!

Visited as a party of 17 on a hen do bottomless brunch. Our brunch which started at 2.30 but the first drinks were brought to the table for 2.45 with several drinks missing. These remaining cocktails were brought to The table at 3.15! The food served to us was cold and several meals were sent back, while others didn’t want to cause a fuss. We had to repeatedly remind the waiting staff about drinks they had forgotten to bring out. The chips meant to be side orders were brought out after the meals were finished. When the hen went to pay she was charged the full amount (including the £170 deposit we had already paid) which we had to point out. We were then asked to move downstairs to the main bar area where we took up three tables, after an hour we were asked to move again as the tables were needed. We sat in the reception having a drink and we were told we could have a free shot if the then left as they needed the space. All round really bad experience.

We went for a bottomless brunch, our server Maria (who is the only reason it’s not below 3 stars) was absolutely lovely, she was incredible and made sure our needs and requirements were met. The reason for the low review is because of the way we were spoken to by the manager, getting asked to leave 20 minutes early (which thankfully Maria placed us downstairs and made sure to serve us) only said that there was a birthday party coming (we had a birthday in our group too) and was incredibly rude and stated that we were lying about our ending time, I showed him the booking, he then said that bottomless drinks stop getting served 10-20 minutes before the ending time- true or not I paid for 2 hours. Maria sorted everything out going above and beyond, I can’t thank her enough for shouldering his mistakes. However we spent 20 minutes of our bottomless brunch with half of us stood up in the bar area which was not what we booked.
